TROT 4 KIDS mascot Willie Win was crowned champion of the Xtreme Mascot Dash this past Saturday at Georgian Downs in dramatic fashion!
With the TROT 4 KIDS super fans track side Willie pulled through breaking his maiden in front of the large crowd on hand for Xtreme Horsepower 2008.
Getting off the gate in a hurry was hometown entry and defending champion "Sulky Sam" powering his way to the front. With some questionable interference mid way down the stretch Willie overcame the sloppy track conditions closing hard to narrowly pick off Sulky Sam at the wire by a neck!
Crossing the wire for a gapped out third was "Cool Cat" of the Barrie Baycats and rounding out the field was a distanced "Grandy the Grey" of Grand River Raceway. Also, Georgian College's "Grizzly the Growler" was a late scratch due to transportation.XTREME MASCOT DASH 2008
